簡介
《化學課》劇情講述在1950年代期間，布麗拉森飾演的女主角伊莉莎白，是一位立志想成為化學家的女性，也是在實驗室裡最聰明的人，然而封閉的父權社會，迫使她不得不放棄夢想。
在她發現自己被實驗室開除後，轉身成為電視台烹飪節目主持人，她將對於化學的熱愛與專業化成烹飪教學，更藉此讓電視機前長期被忽視的家庭主婦，在無形中吸收獨立自主新女性的觀念。
