簡介
本劇背景設定在現今的華盛頓哥倫比亞特區，講述了眾議院南卡羅萊那州第五國會選區民主黨籍議員、多數黨黨鞭弗蘭克·安德伍德（Frank Underwood，凱文·史貝西飾演）的故事。主要內容是他在晉陞為國務卿的希望破滅後，決定對那些背叛他的人實施報復的過程。該劇主演還有羅蘋·萊特，凱特·瑪拉和寇瑞·斯托爾等。
